When we adopted Emily Louise (Emmy Lou) in
November 2006, we had no idea what an impact she
would make in our lives. From the tip of
her bow-tie
nose to the tip of her satiny black tail, she captured
our hearts.
I wanted the candle business to have a soft, old-fashioned
name...a
pretty and memorable name. As I was trying to
come up with such a name, Emmy Lou jumped in my lap
and looked at me as if to say, "Here
I am!"
